Bridging the Gap Together!

Picture of the cutting of the ribbon on Opening Night Bridging the Gap Together! Is a dynamic and independent Community Interest Company established in 2016 with a clear mission in mind: to empower and support families and individuals with Autism and other neurological conditions.

From the start, our team of volunteer neurodiverse individuals has been a key part of the development of our services. Allowing each of them to grow and develop by becoming stronger and more confident, an integral part of our evolution and service delivery has helped support the team's personal growth and development.

To further extend our reach and impact, we have recently opened our office in Meadow Street, Weston-super-Mare. This strategic move allows us to establish a much-needed point of contact and creates a dedicated space for families and individuals, where they can connect, seek advice, and receive the assistance they require.

As part of our service development and our needs-led early intervention services, we offer the following activities. Our Chat and Craft family group, Minecraft group and Photography sessions. These initiatives provide innovative and inclusive opportunities for individuals to explore their interests, develop valuable skills, and express their creativity.

At Bridging the Gap Together! We are committed to being a catalyst for positive change. Our vision is to create a fully inclusive and diverse stronger community of support and understanding as we bridge gaps, ignite potential through support, understanding and acceptance.

Limitations of Service

While Bridging the Gap Together!  Aims to provide as many themed training workshops our funding permits. BTGT! is unable to:-

• Intervene or help to resolve any issues parents/carers or young people may have.
• We cannot help anyone directly to access any services
• Provide an advocacy service.
• Offer any financial help or assistance.

However, where possible we will do our utmost to signpost young people, parents and carers to other appropriate agencies who may be able to offer them the individual support and guidance they may require.
